Both Terry and Bob had years of experience working in the construction industry. Terry started the business operation from an office in his home and a small shop for equipment and material. As the business grew he purchased and moved to the present location on Highway 22, east of Riverside. 

Stumpf Construction Services is now a third-generation business. Terry’s son, Chad has been involved in the business since he was a small child going to work with his dad. He has a degree in Construction Management, which includes Engineering and Architectural design work. Terry and Chad now share in the ownership of the business. 

The majority of our staff have been with us for over 25 years. They are a loyal and close-knit team who take pride in their work. Included in our staff, we have a mix of brothers, sons, uncles and fathers.

Stumpf Construction Services Inc is a general contracting business that has expanded and diversified the business even more with basement waterproofing, tile and sump pump systems, foundation wall repairs and replacement, foundation underpinning and stabilization with proper grading, drainage, and retaining walls. In early 2000 we began a new a division called “Basement MD” moisture damage specialists to focus more on the demand for this area of our business.

We are well respected and recognized as a leading water and structural expert for all foundation and building issues in eastern Iowa. We believe in and stand behind the products and techniques we use and have built a solid reputation due to the services we provide. We don’t sell products, we sell service!
